How a Pen R&D Lab character toy comes together — three stages, one Cat-Skull

STAGE 01

Concept

A hand-drawn character sheet. The Cat-Skull starts as a sketch — proportions, attitude and silhouette locked before a single vertex.

STAGE 02

Renders & 3D Models

The sketch becomes a watertight 3D model — three outfit editions, studio-rendered straight from the locked character sheet.

STAGE 03

Real Toys

Pulled off the printer, cast in resin and hand-finished. Not a render — a real object, the first run straight from the model sheet.

It all begins on paper — a hand-drawn character sheet that locks the Cat-Skull's proportions, attitude and silhouette before any modeling starts.
